This week on Elder Silva's mission, it was pretty successful. We had another baptism of a kid named Antonio and I had the pleasure to do the ordinance and it felt great. We've also been working with the members here and they have a lot of references for us which is always good and the members want to work with us so that we can help strengthen the ward :) So these week was also really frustrating because we were suppose to baptize 3 other kids but that same day the mom for some reason didn't give them permission and we were like are you serious this can't be happening right now so we were a little mad but we got over it after we had a great lesson with an investigator about Temples and having eternal family's :D

Week 22
This week on Elder Silva's mission, it was great because we had a baptism. It was of a little boy named Roman and he is the funniest kid. His grandpa got baptized last month and this week Roman got baptized and we thought it would be special that his grandpa could do the ordinance, and It was a great experience :) So its still hot like always but I''m getting pretty used to being sweaty 24/7. We also have a lot of new people to teach and i hope the keep on listening!!!! Today we went to a farm and the sister that was there asked us if we were hungry and we said "yeah". Then she said "ok follow me" so we did and she took us where there was a lot of ducks and said "well there's your lunch, go catch one,'' I was like ok. So we caught one and she taught us how to kill it, skin it, and take out everything :O It was pretty nasty and right now she is frying it, I guess today is going to be my first day eating duck lol.

Week 21
This week on Elder Silva's mission, it has been Hot, really hot but that doesn't stop us because we have a very special message. The people that we talk to say that May is going to be even hotter than it is, they say it gets up to 115 degrees. The whole mission says that there is a legend that during the month of May there are only 2 types of people walking the streets, dogs, and missionary's. So when May comes around I'm going to see if that legend is true lol. So far so good, we have found a lot of new investigators that are very interested and want to learn more :) There is a young girl named Erica, she is 19 years old and she knows the scriptures pretty well so we asked her if she knew firstly where we came from, then secondly why are we here, and lastly where are we going to go? She said she didn't know and wanted to know the answers to these 3 questions so we taught her the Plan Of Salvation and she fell in love with it, so we asked her to pray to see if these things are true!!!! we are going to visit her this Thursday :)

Week 20
This week on Elder Silva's mission, I got transferred. I made a promise to myself which was to stop wasting time and get to work. So that's what me and my Companion did and our numbers this week were the highest in the whole zone! So yeah it feels pretty good but after watching the general conference it pumped me my companion Elder Gonzalez and I up!!!! We are going to keep on working even if our numbers are the highest because right now I really feel like God is blessing us like crazy. If we stop working then we're telling him that we don't want anymore blessings and that's not what I want happen. But I actually don't feel as tired as before and know I'm working a lot harder and its like twice a hot as the last month. I've been praying to God to keep my body strong and that's what he has been doing :D Just this week we have met a lot of new and great people to teach and I'm excited for this week to teach them!!!!!!
