Hi everyone, right now we are teaching a lot of people and sometimes its hard because many say they want to learn but they don't many pray or read :( We have one investigator who is Catholic but his wife is a member and he went to church. We taught him and at first he was totally against it but by the end of the lessons he said he will pray about we taught him. I hope he decides to keep on wanting to hear and learn from us.

Week 13
This week on Elder Silva's mission it was my last week of training! My trainer finished his mission and went home :( but I got a new companion named Elder Almonte. He is from the Dominican Republic and he is really cool. He looks like a black person but one that just happens to speak Spanish lol. He has been on the mission for 9 months and we are getting along :) We also got to work with the new missionary's, it was nice seeing them and realize that I'm one of the new missionary's anymore lol. Hopefully this transfer will be a successful one. :D

Week 12
This week on Elder Silva's mission update, my time with my companion Elder BaƱuelos is almost at an end. He leaves to his home next week on the 16th, I have learned a lot from him. So this week I had to buy tamales because over here in Mexico there is a tradition where the person who got a baby from the cake on day of Kings; they have to buy tamales the on the 2nd of February. We couldn't do it on the 2nd but we did it on the 4th.
This week we also found 2 people from Honduras that moved to Mexico. They moved to Mexico looking for a better life and are currently basically homeless, they don't have a place to stay so they sleep at a park. We decided to help them out and are helping them find a job and a place to live. They seem like really nice people and we just felt bad. So far we are working hard since its my companions last week :(
OHHHH and this was us filling the Baptismal font lol it took 30 min to fill :)

Week 11
This week was the BOMB, we had a baptism of a guy name Arcilado. He has been going to church for 10 years and has finally decided to get baptized :) He got baptized last Friday with his daughter and it was just great. We also had an investigator named Ezekiel go to the ceremony and he thought it was special and wants the same thing. So we are going to work hard on him so he can also get baptized soon :D My companion and I also got the chance to go and clean the temple, it was great to go somewhere peaceful and away from the worldly things. We also went to celebrate the baptism at a restaurant and ate a lot!!!
